Child Support customers are required to provide their current address and any change of address to their Friend of the Court. Some customers do not keep their address updated and when funds are received on the case, the State cannot forward those funds. Other customers receive checks that they have not cashed for some reason. The State holds these unclaimed funds for one year. The law requires that after one year the Office of Child Support must escheat (transfer) the money to the Department of Treasury's unclaimed property division.*

To reduce the unclaimed money that must be sent to Treasury, the Office of Child Support is offering customers the opportunity to search for unclaimed support larger than $1 by providing your name and last four digits of your social security number below.
